Paper Printing involves printing high-resolution designs with a diverse colour palette onto a specially coated paper, which is later used to transfer these designs onto fabric through heat and pressure.
At DM Textiles, we use both Digital Printing and Rotogravure Printing Machines depending on the scale, complexity, and detailing of the design.
Digital printing allows for custom, intricate patterns and vivid colors, ideal for shorter runs or frequent design changes.
Rotogravure printing excels in high-volume production, offering sharp definition, consistency, and speed.
Once the design is printed onto the paper using inks, the paper is stored or immediately transferred onto polyester-based fabrics in the next stage of production.
Why It Matters?
- Exceptional Design Precision: High-resolution detail and vibrant color reproduction on fabric begins with precise printing on paper.
- Versatility in Production: From one-of-a-kind designer pieces to large-scale upholstery runs, digital and rotogravure printing allow flexibility and efficiency.
- No Surface Coating Required: Since designs are transferred into the fibers, not onto the surface, fabrics retain their natural feel and breathability—ideal for upholstery.
